Forged 6 inch Chef

This small chef was forged from 1075 High Carbon Steel.  To enhance corrosion resistance I Parkerized the blade black. This small chef has a long flat which is close to that of a Nikiri but the first third of the tip is more rounded.  The handle is a burl wood and epoxy resin hybrid made by a small company in nearby Richmond VA.  The blade thickness at the spine is .075".  It is thin, light and very sharp.  -SOLD-

Note: Even though the blade has been parkerized the rules for caring for a high carbon steel knife still apply.
